Father's Day

HAPPY FATHERS DAY

 We celebrated Dads Day with my family on friday night and on sunday we went and saw his family.  It was a wonderful weekend!  Both BBQs were amazing!! 
Gabe is going camping this next weekend with the Scouts and I am going to miss him so much :( 
...3 days without him.  I hope I can survive!! Love you Tito!!!!!

Summer Days

Our summer has been great so far! Monday mornings we always get up and clean the house.  And then we run any errands that we need to do.  Once the house is clean, I let the girls have a friend over.  There is one particular friend they always want to call.  She is so sweet and I love having her over.  Then on Tuesdays, we always go to the park in the morning.  There are about 6 girls in the neighorhood who bring their kids, and we stay till lunch.  My greatest adventure though, is on wednesdays.  The Tinseltown theater up by my house has a movie club.  So I take all 4 kids to the movies on weds.  It is crazy!! But its only 50cents and I get in for free.  So its great.  They play older movies like Rio, Kung Fu Panda, Happy Feet..... Andi and Alex love it and Gideon just sleeps.  But, Josilyn is always wanting to wander around, or talk to whoever is sitting behind us LOL  She does ok at first.  I always bring treats and get popcorn, but once her treats are gone, she goes crazy.  The whole theater is full of kids though, so its ok.  Its been a real adventure.  Almost every thursday is when we sleep in and thats usually my laundry day.  We like to go on walks too, the weather has just been beautiful.  And then on fridays I have been going to salt lake to see family.  What a wonderful summer so far!!  The girls have been swimming and play in the sprinklers too, and already have a good tan going on!!  I wish my swimsuit fit  :(  I really havent been doing my workout rouines lately-I better get back on track though, because we are headed to the lake in July! I cant wait!!  I hope the rest of the summer is just as fun!!

10 weeks

Tomorrow my sweet little boy will be 10 weeks old! I took him yesterday for his 2 month appointment.  He is growing so fast! His weight was 13 lbs 13 oz!! Thats in the 86% percentile! And his height was 22 inches.... the 18% percentile! So, pretty much he is short and fat! LOL  But he still has some growing to do!  Hopefully he will grow taller and not chunkier! :)  He also got his vaccinations yesterday :(  but to my surprise, he really didnt cry! He was such a trooper.  And then he slept the whole day away!  I had to wake him just to eat, but he didnt eat much.  Which meant he was hungry last night and woke up 3 times last night!  Oh well, I have been spoiled.  Hes been giving me 6 or 7 hours straight usually at night.  I am so glad that he is growing healthy!  The only concern that his pediatrician had is that he always likes to turn his head to his left, which means he has a flat spot in the back.  And it can cause muscle damage, so I have to do these funny neck stretches on him everytime I change his diaper.     Hopefully it helps, because I guess it can be a really bad problem.  Lets hope at his 4 month appt his head is not as misshaped :)

YAY FOR SUMMER!!
I am so glad that school is out!  This weekend the girls were out playing and helping Gabe wash his car and it was just so much fun!!  I am so grateful for family time!  This summer is gonna be a blast!

2 months!

Gideon is now 2 months old!!  I dont think I can even express how much I love him!  He is starting to smile and he loves to observe everything going on around him.  He is also a very good eater! As you can see, he is quite the chunk :)  I am taking him to the doctor next week for his official 2 month visit and shots-but when I weighed him today he was 13 lbs!! HOLY SMOKES! Thats a big boy!!  He also seems a bit longer than the girls were at this age, hopefully he will be tall!!  He is also a much better sleeper than the girls!! He went to bed at 10 last night, and slept until 5:45!!!  He usually goes about 5 or 6 hours at night, but maybe now he will sleep all night ...... hopefully!
