Memorial Day

I am so glad that Gabe was able to have a day off so we could have some family time. We took the kids to an awesome little park down in Fruit Heights. And afterwards we went to salt lake. My parents are out of town, but we went there to use their BBQ. The girls wanted ribs, so Gabe cooked. It was a wonderful day!! When my parents are back in town, we will head to the cemetary to put flowers on my grandparents, Uncle, cousin, and my brother and sister's grave.

I wish everyday could be like this one!!  It was so nice outside, and we all had fun!!  I am so glad this is the last week of school for Andi!!  This summer is gonna be awesome!!!

...just having some girl time!!  I dont have any sisters so I enjoy watching them play together, and seeing all of the crazy and fun things they do.  But they seriously need to go brush their hair in these photos  hahah

Graduation

Today, my beautiful daughter Anadaniella graduated from Kindergarten! WOW! I am getting so old! It was so fun to go and watch her little class program and see her with all of her friends! She had 2 lines and participated in a little skit. It was adorable. She is growing up soooo fast!! Gabe was sad that he couldnt go and watch her graduation, so he took Andi out on a Father/Daughter date!! :) They are still out right now, and I bet they are having so much fun!! What a wonderful husband I have!!

YAY!!  I am going to miss her so much next year when she is in school all day!!

It was hard enough already to not see her before noon!

The Plan continues...

Well, I've been doing pretty good with my workout routine.... until the weekends roll around! Then I am all about sleeping in and eating treats and going out and so forth.... so my weight isnt great! haha  But I do feel better just since I have been working out a few minutes daily, it helps a little bit.  My new goal is just to get out of my maternity pants.... for some reason my butt got huge after this pregnancy, and I cant even fit into my fat pants!! How sad!!  And I've now lost 18 pounds of my 40 gained! BLAH!  Why doesnt anything fit me??  Its so frustrating, and I would hate to go shopping for clothes that will only fit for a while.... I really need some more motivation.... hmmm.... Its also frustrating because we live up in Layton, and most of my friends live elsewhere  :(  So I have no workout buddies.  Gabe says I need to go make friends up here.  I mean I have friends, just not like close close friends like the ones I grew up with.  Its just me and Gabe.  My best friends are my kids :)  One day I will be cool again and have friends. HA!  Well, this post is quite depressing LOL  I guess I will go and work out now....

The Plan!!!

So, its been 5 weeks since I had Gideon.  I gained almost 40 pounds while I was pregnant this time!! I have never gained so much in my life! And he wasnt even 7 lbs!!  Blah!!  Since I have had him, I have only lost 13 pounds.  So, I have decided that I need to have a plan.  And I thought if I blogged about it, then I would be held accountable, and that I would have to keep up with it.  After I had my third child, I waited about 7 months and then I started to do those Insanity workouts... and let me tell you, those really are crazy!!  I was also going to the gym and I lost over 20 pounds!! But I also wasnt nursing my baby by then.  So, since I am still nursing, I cant find anything that doesnt include a major diet of cutting calories.  And I am not in shape to be doing those Insanity workouts yet.  Anyways, I was watching Studio 5 on ksl in the morning (you can tell I'm getting old.... watching those kind of shows haha) And they have this 30 day workout plan.  It includes a diet, but I thought I would just eat better since I am nursing, maybe cut out some carbs and add more vegetables.  Anyways, the workout is only 5 minutes and then you are supposed to repeat it 3-6 times.  So what I have been doing is I get up and do the workout twice, and then while my kids nap, I do it 2 or 3 more times in the afternoon!!  They just have the videos on their website.  Its easy, and even better, its FREE!!!!!  So, they are already starting week 2 online, but I jumped on the bandwagon late and am still doing week ones workout.  But, its only thursday, and I have lost another 2 pounds.... hopefully I can keep it off.  But I am so excited.  I have a hard time with weight gain, and I feel so good when I work out.  So, heres to hoping I can keep this up for 30 days, and at least lose like 10 pounds.  That would be awesome!!!!!  If anyone wants to join in on the fun, the website is studio5.ksl.com  click on the health tab and go to the 30 day swimsuit plan!  Here's to getting skinny!!!!!  :) 

Gideon

Here are some pictures that I took of Gideon yesterday morning!! I can't believe he's one month!

He started to get mad after a few minutes-but hes so cute!!

Again, I am extremely grateful for this little guy!!  He is such a sweetie-I am so in love with him!  I'm kind of sad when I think that he might be my last baby.  But I think our family is complete, and I am so glad I get to experience having a son along with all the drama that will come with his older sisters! :)

Best Husband!

I just wanted to say THANKS to the best hubby ever!!  Last Sunday, Gabe got up and cooked breakfast for everyone, then when we came home from church, he cooked dinner!! Then on monday we had a fun night playing outside with all the kids, while he BBQ'd dinner.  And he came home early on tuesday to surprise us, and again, made dinner and I got a sweet shoulder rub from him later!!
I dont know how I would survive raising all these kids without him!!  He has been a trooper helping me out with the kids at night too!  When Gideon gets up for his 2AM feeding, Josilyn ALWAYS seems to get up-and wants to come to our bed-But when she came to our bed last night, she kicked Gabe out and he slept in her little pink bed all alone!!  :(   So sweet of him to do so, especially since he has to get up at 5:30 to get ready for work--plus he has a bad back, and that bed is horrible!!!
I love you Gabriel!!!  Thanks for all that you do for our family!!  Especially letting me stay home and be a mom, while you work your butt off all week!!!  I love you!

quick update

Gideon is 4 weeks today!! Can you believe it??  He is the sweetest little thing!  He has been up a lot more in the day, which also means he wants to eat more too, but he actually went 5 hours last night and 6 hours the night before!! Woot!!  I didnt have to get up every 2 -3 hours!! So nice!! I have needed the sleep!!  Hes not really the one wearing me out though, its Josilyn.  She is such a crazy toddler!!  A very busy busy busy little girl!  We went to the park today and I was chasing her everywhere!! Being in charge of her, plus the other 3.... oh man!!  My summer is going to be crazy with all 4 of them, but I am so excited!!!  Today, when Andi was at school, I asked Josilyn to go get her shoes so we could go to the store, and look what she did to get ready......

Really?  A backwards pink hat??  and she left the glasses on like that for like a half hour too...... what a weirdo!!  She looked ridiculous....  But thankfully she took it off when it was time to get the groceries and be seen in public!! haha

Anyways, this post is gonna be short, just wanted to say how happy I am that I have this handsome, healthy little boy!! I am IN LOVE with him!  (Sorry Gabe, hes the new man in my life) heheh
